Iker Rudy Tabuni, has called on Papuans to accept the results of the gubernatorial election re-vote (PSU) with sincerity and maintain peace. He underlined that whoever is elected is the legitimate governor for all people of Papua.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWhoever is chosen as governor is our leader in Papua Province. Whatever decision is made represents our collective answer and hope,\u201d Rev. Iker said in Jayapura on Tuesday (Aug 20).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He stressed that both the church community and Papuan society as a whole must prioritize dialogue and unity over political conflict. \u201cTo the church, congregations, and all communities, let us receive any decision with a peaceful heart. The security situation is currently stable and under control, and we must preserve it together,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rev. Iker further highlighted the importance of peace as the foundation for Papua\u2019s development. According to him, security is not only the duty of law enforcement but also the shared responsibility of all believers and communities across different groups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cSecurity is our collective responsibility.
