Jayapura, July 25, 2025 \u2014 The spirit of independence echoed through the streets of Jayapura City, Papua, as thousands of residents gathered to participate in and witness a lively marching parade to welcome the 80th Anniversary of Indonesia\u2019s Independence Day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Friday afternoon event drew participants from all walks of life\u2014elementary, middle, and high school students, youth organizations, and government institutions. Each group showcased unity and creativity in their formations, complete with red-and-white decorations and patriotic chants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jayapura\u2019s main roads were filled with enthusiastic citizens who lined the streets, cheering on the marchers. The joyful and festive atmosphere served as clear evidence of Papua\u2019s strong spirit in celebrating Indonesia\u2019s 80th Independence Day with unity and love for the nation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
