Jayapura, Papua \u2013 On the morning of Wednesday, June 18, 2025, the atmosphere in Tablasupa Village, RW 1 Amai, Depapre District, Jayapura Regency, felt unusually vibrant. Starting at 9:30 a.m. Eastern Indonesian Time (WIT), residents of all ages gathered at the village hall to participate in a free medical service organized by the Cartenz Peace Operation Task Force 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For many villagers, especially those living far from health facilities, this activity was a breath of fresh air. Oktavina Kisiwaitou, a local resident who attended the event, expressed her deep gratitude. \u201cWe are very thankful. Not everyone in this village has easy access to healthcare. The presence of the police here today truly helps us,\u201d she said, her eyes shining with appreciation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The humanitarian event was led by First Police Inspector Dr. Chintya Widodo, accompanied by the Health Subtask Force and the Public Relations Task Force of the Cartenz Peace Operation. They were supported by personnel from the Depapre Police Sector, including Brigadier Biliy Depondoye. Residents received medical check-ups, free medication, and direct consultations with the attending doctors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Children were also warmly cared for, eagerly receiving gifts from the Public Relations team, led by Brigadier Pol Ita Sombo Allo. The event was marked by a cheerful and warm atmosphere, running safely and smoothly throughout the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Major General Police Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., Head of the Cartenz Peace Operation, who attended alongside his Deputy, Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., emphasized that this activity is a concrete demonstration of the police\u2019s care for the people of Papua.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe are here not only to enforce the law but also to provide direct benefits, especially in social and health services,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
From the community\u2019s perspective, such initiatives do more than meet medical needs; they also touch emotional chords. \u201cSeeing the police come to our village not to arrest, but to heal and give gifts to the children, makes us feel a deep connection,\u201d said another mother who was waiting for a medical check-up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Head of Public Relations Task Force, Commissioner of Police Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., explained that the event also aimed to build mutual trust between security forces and the local community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dr. Chintya remarked that the activity proceeded smoothly with high enthusiasm from the residents. \u201cWe are happy to see people smile, and we hope this event brings real benefits to them,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
