Jayapura, May 10, 2025 \u2014 The Public Relations Task Force of Operation Peace Cartenz-2025 held a humanitarian outreach event in Entrop, South Jayapura District, Jayapura City, on Saturday (May 10).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Led by First Police Inspector Syahrir Mahyuddin, the event featured a variety of activities that directly engaged local residents, including children. Games, moments of shared joy, and informal conversations between officers and community members created a warm and friendly atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Brigadier General Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., Commander of Operation Peace Cartenz-2025, said the event was part of a persuasive approach aimed at building long-term security in Papua.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSecurity isn\u2019t just about enforcement\u2014it\u2019s also about touching hearts. Our presence here, especially with the children, reflects our commitment to creating a peaceful and harmonious Papua,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event was well-received by residents. One local, Yahya Numberi, expressed his appreciation for the police presence in their neighborhood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe children were really happy to play and get attention from the officers. It made us feel closer to the police,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Senior Commissioner Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., Head of Public Relations for Operation Peace Cartenz-2025, added that this initiative is part of a human-centered public communication strategy designed to restore public trust in the police.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
