In a statement, Rev. Yones Wenda emphasized that the program provides significant benefits for Papuan children, particularly in improving their health and readiness for education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIf our children receive free nutritious meals, the benefits are extraordinary. They will be healthier and better prepared for their education,\u201d said Rev. Yones Wenda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Furthermore, he highlighted that the MBG program is a great help for economically disadvantaged families in Papua. With this initiative, the government eases the burden on parents in meeting their children\u2019s nutritional needs. In addition to improving the nutrition and health of Papuan children, the program also contributes to supporting education by ensuring better nutritional intake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe, the religious leaders in Papua, strongly support this program. It is a positive step that must continue for the future of our next generation,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Regarding opposition to the MBG program, Rev. Yones Wenda asserted that such resistance does not represent the voice of all Papuans. He stated that the opposition comes only from certain individuals with their own agendas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThere are irresponsible parties rejecting this program, but they do not represent the people of Papua. We hope the government continues this program for the well-being of our children,\u201d he affirmed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
