Kiwirok, January 31, 2025 \u2013 Residents of Kiwirok District, Pegunungan Bintang Regency, Papua Highlands, warmly welcomed the social service activities organized by the Indonesian National Police (Polri) under the OPS Damai Cartenz and the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) on Friday (31\/1). During the event, the joint forces distributed basic necessities to the community as a form of concern for the social conditions in the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The enthusiasm of the residents was evident from their happy faces when receiving the aid. A sense of togetherness was also created during the distribution process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The provision of basic necessities was a result of the self-initiative of OPS Damai Cartenz personnel, TNI members, Koramil, and the local police station. They voluntarily set aside some of their earnings to help the community, as a gesture of solidarity and concern for the Kiwirok residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Head of the Public Relations Task Force of OPS Damai Cartenz, Police Commissioner Yusuf Sutejo, S.I.K., M.T., emphasized that this activity is part of efforts to build and strengthen good relations between the authorities and the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Through this social service, we want to show that the presence of the authorities is not only to maintain security but also to help improve the welfare of the community,” he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After receiving the assistance, residents expressed their gratitude to the joint forces for showing attention and care for them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
