Jayapura, November 9, 2024 – A video showing a figure similar to Aske Mabel, a former member of the National Police from the Yalimo Police, is going viral and has received serious attention from the Cartenz-2024 Peace Operations Task Force.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The figure in the video appears to be declaring himself as the commander of the Yalimo Armed Criminal Group (KKB), strengthening the suspicion of his involvement in armed criminal actions in Papua.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Head of Cartenz-2024 Peace Operations, Brigadier General. Pol. Dr. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., revealed that his party suspected that the figure in the video was Aske Mabel, who was previously involved in the seizure of four Chinese AK-type long-barreled firearms on Sunday, June 9, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“The figure in the video circulating is strongly suspected of having similarities with former Polri member of the Yalimo Police, Aske Mabel. Therefore, we will take law enforcement efforts,” said Brigadier General Faizal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Head of Public Relations Task Force for Peaceful Operation Cartenz-2024, Senior Commissioner Pol. Dr. Bayu Suseno, S.H., S.I.K., M.M., M.H., also emphasized that the Peaceful Task Force Cartenz-2024 has conducted an in-depth investigation into the video.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Currently, we are conducting an investigation, and Aske Mabel will be the main target in law enforcement by Peaceful Operation Cartenz-2024 and will continue in the upcoming Peaceful Operation Cartenz-2025,” said Senior Commissioner Bayu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Senior Commissioner Pol.
