Jayapura – Papuan women’s figure Laura Dungguri has expressed her appreciation for the Police Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2026 for its continued presence, care, and engagement with communities across various regions of Papua. Her statement, delivered on Tuesday (November 3, 2026), reflects support for the Task Force’s efforts to maintain security while strengthening relations between the Indonesian National Police (Polri) and local communities.
Laura said the presence of the Peace Cartenz Task Force goes beyond security operations and law enforcement. It is also demonstrated through various social activities, including assisting people in need, sharing with local residents, and building communication and positive relationships with communities.
According to her, these activities reflect a humanitarian approach by the Indonesian National Police, showing that officers are not only law enforcement personnel but also partners and friends of the community.
“Activities like these are very positive because they demonstrate that the police are present not only as law enforcement officers but also as partners and friends of the community. Such acts of care can strengthen relationships and foster a sense of brotherhood among the people of Papua,” Laura said.
She expressed hope that the social initiatives carried out by the Peace Cartenz Task Force would continue sustainably across all operational areas, allowing communities, particularly those in need, to directly benefit from these activities.
Furthermore, Laura encouraged all Papuans to take an active role in maintaining security and public order. She emphasized the importance of preserving solidarity, avoiding provocation from unverified information, and resolving problems through constructive and responsible approaches.
“Papua is our home, and peace is everyone’s responsibility. Let us join hands, support one another, and work together to build a safe, peaceful, and prosperous Papua,” she stated.
At the end of her message, Laura once again expressed her gratitude to the Police Task Force Operation Peace Cartenz 2026 for its dedication and commitment to serving the people of Papua. She also expressed hope that the spirit of togetherness and compassion would continue to be upheld to promote harmonious community life.
Her message serves as a reminder that maintaining peace and security in Papua requires the participation of all elements of society through mutual care, solidarity, and a shared commitment to helping one another.
