Oksibil – Task Force Police Operation Peace Cartenz Personnel together with the RI-PNG Yonif 734/SNS Pamtas Task Force and Korpasgat Task Force carried out Healthy Sunday Worship activities at Bethel Indonesia Church, Oksibil District, Pegunungan Bintang Regency, Pegunungan Papua, Sunday (9/27/2026).
The activity that started around 10.05 WIT was filled with free health services in the form of health check-ups and treatments for the community. In addition, the personnel also shared food with the children around the church environment.
Healthy Sunday Worship activities are part of the humanist approach of personnel in the operation area, as well as a means to build communication and strengthen friendship with the community. Through direct service, personnel try to provide benefits as well as create a safe and comfortable atmosphere for residents.
During the activity, personnel interact directly with the community who participate in health services and residents around the church. The interaction received a positive response, including the community’s appreciation for health services and the care given to the residents.
Head of Operation Peace Cartenz-2026 Inspector General of Police. Faizal Ramadhani, S.Sos., S.I.K., M.H., said that the activity is part of the implementation of tasks that not only focus on the security aspect, but also put forward a persuasive and humanistic approach.
“Through activities such as Healthy Sunday Worship, personnel can be present directly in the community and provide useful services. This humanist approach is important to build communication, strengthen friendship, and create a sense of security for the community in carrying out daily activities,” said Head of Operation Peace Cartenz-2026.
According to him, a good relationship between security officers and the community needs to continue to be built through communication and activities that touch the needs of the community. With the establishment of good communication, it is hoped that the community can play a role in maintaining security and order in their respective neighborhoods.
Meanwhile, Deputy Head of Operation Peace Cartenz-2026 Chief Commissioner of Police Adarma Sinaga, S.I.K., M.Hum., said that health service activities and sharing with the community are a form of personnel presence that prioritizes the humanist side in the implementation of tasks.
“The presence of personnel in the community is not only in the context of maintaining security, but also building closeness and care. We hope that activities like this can strengthen friendship and open up a good communication space between the community and security officers,” said Deputy Head of Operation Peace Cartenz-2026.
He added, community participation and support have an important role in maintaining the kamtibmas situation. Therefore, the communication that has been established needs to be maintained so that the community can carry out activities, including worship activities, safely and comfortably.
One of the local residents, Yohanis Kapiyau, expressed his appreciation and thanks to all personnel who had attended and provided free health services to the community.
“We would like to thank the Cartenz Peace Task Force together with the Pamtas Task Force and the Korpasgat Task Force who have come and provided free health services to the community. This activity is very helpful to the residents, and we are also happy because the personnel want to interact directly with the community and share food with children,” said Yohanis.
According to Yohanis, the presence of personnel through Healthy Sunday Worship activities provides direct benefits for the community as well as strengthening the relationship between security officers and residents in the Oksibil District.
